How about that sunrise this particular morning?! The 'forecast' for sunrise looked promising so I headed into the city, and boy am I glad that I did! Usually the color really starts to pop about 20 minutes or so before sunrise, but today you could already see pink and purple tones 45 minutes before the sun came up! I've been waiting for a morning like this to head back to this tree along Grandview Avenue, one that was so popular this spring (and is featured in the month of May on my calendar, all the way from last year!). The streetlight illuminates the leaves perfect, and with the city shining below under the colorful sky, it made for an incredible scene. I gotta say, this one is up there as a personal favorite of 2020 for sure!
