I've always been fascinated by lightning, and trying to capture it is always exciting. This particular strike is by far my favorite, captured in the early morning hours of May 2nd, 2016. For the first time, I actually caught lightning striking the ground (or in this case, water), illuminating the Pittsburgh skyline. This image was featured on Good Morning America, in the Washington Post, and various other news outlets around the country.
